Currently, I am a research associate in the Miller group. My work in the Miller group started in 2019 when I was a visiting scientist and continued in this position until Dec. 2022. I have over 20 years of academic and industrial experience on diode pumped solid state lasers. My current research interests are Yb doped femtosecond lasers and middle IR medical lasers. My role with the Miller group is to work directly with students, to help them gain from my expertise, and help advance the use of Picosecond InfraRed Laser (PIRL) technology for medical applications in surgery and biodiagnostics. In my free time, I enjoy fishing and canoeing in beautiful lakes around Toronto area.
