Femtosecond electron diffraction and PIRL-fs hybrid system for biological applications
My main research at Prof. Miller's group is the development of a femtosecond fiber laser oscillator for application in Mass Spectrometry, and for characterization of multiphoton ionization of larger masse species. Also, I will participate in femtosecond electron diffraction experiments to map chemical reactions at the resolution of atomic scale. I finished my Ph.D. in Materials Science at the Physics Department of the Federal University of Pernambuco - Brazil, working on nonlinear optical spectroscopy of low-dimensional materials. I received my BSc in Physics from the Federal Institute of Technology of Ceará - Sobral Campus.
