Interests Data Analysis and application of Machine Learning to electron diffraction and mass-spectrometry data

I obtained my PhD in chemistry, using gas-phase electron diffraction and quantum chemistry to determine the structure of molecules to the highest possible accuracy and since then I have worked on ultrafast electron diffraction to record molecular movies of photochemical phenomena, developing the instrumentation and algorithms for retrieving the time-resolved structures. I recently joined the group here in Toronto and will be focusing on data analysis and application of machine learning to electron diffraction and mass-spectrometry based proteomics. I'm especially interested in Bayesian approaches to data analysis and machine learning and applications of these to chemistry.
