Ahmed Mohammed

I am a first-year Master of Science Student with a passion for physical and analytical chemistry. I graduated from UofT in 2023 majoring in physical chemistry. I previously worked in the Nanomaterial Bio Interaction lab supervised under Dr. Ruby Sullan during my final years of undergrad. For my undergraduate thesis, my research revolved around investigating the oxidation and analytical elucidation of poly-serotonin nanoparticles - performing various analytical measurements including Raman, NMR, LC-MS, and HPLC-DAD. My project of interest, tentatively, is the data acquisition and measurement of femtosecond electron diffraction under thin polymer film samples. During my free time, I like to watch one piece, play chess, and try various cuisines in downtown Toronto.
